About Maggie Gallery & Gifts

Established in May 2018, The Maggie Gallery, or "THE MAGGIE" for short, is an eclectic, art-centric art gallery and gift shop located within one block of the stoplight in downtown Floyd Virginia.  The gallery displays the artwork of dedicated local artists and artisans to include many mediums from oils, acrylics, watercolor, pen and ink, alcohol ink, pottery, and much, much more. 

Renovation at the gallery location began in January of 2018, and the doors were opened to visitors in May 2018, many of whom had the same question:  Who is Maggie?  Maggie is not only the grandniece of the original gallery owners, Ron and Lenny Campbell, but also a beautiful young lady with a beautiful name, who graciously consented to allow her name and profile to represent the gallery. 


On September 1, 2022, the business was transferred to Ms. Brenda Hopkins, a Southwest Virgina native with deep ties to Floyd and the surrounding county. Brenda is dedicated to continuing the legacy of  THE MAGGIE in the community and opening the doors up to locals, travelers, and evne more artists and artisans interested in being involved. 

Events such as "Art on the Lawn", "Art after Dark", and Featured Artist receptions will be held throughout the seasons to allow visitors to enjoy a fun afternoon or evening browsing the gallery, meeting the artists and other visitors, or watching demonstrations of the multifaceted talent represented at THE MAGGIE.
